I made this for a very large baby shower. This matches the bedding that mama picked out for her new baby's nursery. This was a vanilla and chocolate cake. My favorite pat of this cake is the ruffly boarder. I also really love the monkey!

Whale of a time cake!
Miss Caroline turned one this weekend, so we made her a pretty special cake! This was the famous almond vanilla flavor that everyone seems to want. I made this cake in Dallas and had a really hard time with it because the humidity was so high! It turned out cute, but took longer than expected.
Caroline's smashcake!
M&M cake
I made this gluten free, egg free cake for a very sweet little boy's birthday. It was pretty dense and tasted similar to banana bread. I'm really happy with the way the m&ms turned out on top. They are made of fondant. I made this cake while my kitchen was in the midst of a remodel, hence the messy background.
Ninja Turtle cake
Hudson's 3rd birthday party was a ninja turtle karate party. Mikey is is favorite ninja, so I made a simple Michelangelo cake for the party. He wanted a lemon a lemon cake, so this was a fresh lemony flavor. Happy Birthday, Hudson!
The Blunt Wedding Cakes
Not much explanation is needed for these cakes. They turned out perfect. The wedding was a rustic winery in Kansas City. We were able to find a nice size tree that had recent;y fallen and make some pretty perfect cake stands. This was my almond vanilla cake and again it was a huge hit! You cannot go wrong with this flavor!
The beautiful bride and groom
Rose Birthday Cake
The boys and I made this cake for Mimi's birthday. It uses a crazy amount of frosting, but it is hands down the easiest cake that I have ever made! There are fresh strawberries between each layer of cake
ruffle cake
I made this cake for a YMCA fundraiser. It was an almond vanilla cake. So yummy! I hope it raised a lot of money!
Christmas Cake
Here is an example of my Christmas cake. I like to make a chocolate vanilla swirl cake with candy cane frosting. It is delicious! I used some fun cake glitter on this to make it look more wintery.
Bob the Builder cake
I made this Bob the Builder cake for my son's fourth birthday party. He absolutely LOVED it! It was the first cake that I made after returning to Kansas. I used Oreos for the dirt and crunch candy for the rocks. The hard hat is made out of rice crispy treats and fondant. This cake was definitely the focal point of the party.
