Small Wedding Cake

This is a small wedding cake that I made just before going on maternity leave. The cake is covered in a white fondant and decorated with soft lace and pearls.  I made the sunflowers and columbines with gum paste. I love how casually elegant it turned out! This cake was my signature flavor, vanilla almond.

Tinkerbell Cake

 A beautiful cake for a fairy princess! This cake was a vanilla cake and a huge hit at the birthday party.

Golden Lego

 Harrison wanted a golden Lego cake for his Lego themed birthday party this year. This was the easiest cake I've ever made, which is good since I was 35 weeks pregnant at the time!

 These were my first attempts at smoothing a buttercream cake. Thankfully I have improved, but I still think these cakes are darling. Since my minimum is $50 when making cakes, I offer a special with the smash cakes. You can order 2 (one for the party and one for the pics) for $50.

Star Wars Cake

 I made this for a darling little Star Wars loving boy. He was so excited to see this cake! I made Darth out of rice krispy treats and covered him with fondant. This was Andrew's favorite kind of cake, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting!

Fun 50th

 This cake celebrates everything that Phillip loves. I thought it was going to look too busy, but I managed to incorporate all of these different activities and still keep the cake looking classy. This cake was such a great hit at the party!

airplane cake

 Our friend celebrated her father's 90th birthday! He spent his life in aviation, so this cake was very fitting. This cake was a vanilla cake.

Shaaaaark!!!!!

Best 50th Birthday Cake Ever

 I made this for a friend's mom this summer. It was a chocolate cake on one layer and red velvet on the other layer. I absolutely love how this cake turned out. . . too fun!

Diva cake

I made this yellow cake for a high heel loving diva! It was a lemon cake on the inside. An excellent flavor for a spring or summer event.

Kitchen themed wedding shower cake

I made this fun cake for a wedding shower. It was kitchen themed shower and the cake total hit! The bride loved that she was able to keep all of the kitchen utensils that were used for decor. The inside was my vanilla almond cake.

ladybug cake

This was a fun cake that I made for a first birthday party. The customer was not a big fan of fondant (eventhough my homemade marshmallow fondant is amazing), so I made this with buttercream roses. I love how it turned out!

 Happy 30th Birthday to a pretty amazing resident! This is probably my favorite cake of all time.

Monkey baby shower cake

 I made this for a very large baby shower. This matches the bedding that mama picked out for her new baby's nursery. This was a vanilla and chocolate cake. My favorite pat of this cake is the ruffly boarder. I also really love the monkey!

Whale of a time cake!

 Miss Caroline turned one this weekend, so we made her a pretty special cake! This was the famous almond vanilla flavor that everyone seems to want. I made this cake in Dallas and had a really hard time with it because the humidity was so high! It turned out cute, but took longer than expected.

M&M cake

 I made this gluten free, egg free cake for a very sweet little boy's birthday. It was pretty dense and tasted similar to banana bread. I'm really happy with the way the m&ms turned out on top. They are made of fondant. I made this cake while my kitchen was in the midst of a remodel, hence the messy background.

Ninja Turtle cake

 Hudson's 3rd birthday party was a ninja turtle karate party. Mikey is is favorite ninja, so I made a simple Michelangelo cake for the party. He wanted a lemon a lemon cake, so this was a fresh lemony flavor. Happy Birthday, Hudson!
